Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO DLC 1 Date Announced

By Scott AdamsJanuary 17, 2025

If you are like me, you have been waiting with anticipation for the first wave of DLC for Dragon Ball SPARKING! ZERO! then you are in luck. Bandai Namco has finally delivered the news we have been waiting for, its release date and its contents!

One thing that is awesome about this DLC is the version of Gohan in this DLC will be able to transform to all the transformations instead of making them separate characters like the Adult Gohan in the base game. Though rather than a story DLC mode, it looks like the new content is custom battles. We have custom battles against the androids, against Cell Max and one that comes straight from the Manga but a Goku vs Gohan custom battle.

Beast Gohan joins the limited amount of characters that have rush supers that can hit giant characters. It is expected and awesome to see personally! We get all the expected characters in this DLC which is Gohan, Piccolo and all their transformations as well as Gamma 1, Gamma 2, and Cell Max. I am sad we don’t get Pan from the movie as well as a costume for Krillin with his Police gear. We do get the Red Ribbon army outfit though for Piccolo.

The best news is that the release date for this DLC is January 23rd, 2025. There is also 72 hour early access available for the DLC if you already bought it through the ultimate edition.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is available on PS5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
