Want To See The Scripts For The Xenoblade Chronicles Series?

A big, beautiful set of stories...
By Todd BlackDecember 5, 2024
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 review Favorite Nintendo Switch Games, Monolith Soft

I will never shut up about my love for the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise. While I might have gotten into it via the Wii U title, once everything started to truly roll on the Nintendo Switch, I was hooked. I still maintain that the XC3 storyline is the most beautiful gaming story I’ve ever experienced, and I’m not sad to say that it made me cry. It resonated with me that much, and that’s what makes me so enamored with Monolith Soft because they clearly put a LOT of effort into making that game’s story and every entry’s story as big and beautiful as possible.

If you’ve ever wondered what the scripts for those games look like…Monolith Soft decided to help you get a picture of that.

Monolith Soft posted a picture of all the Xenoblade series main story scripts that the team used.

Yeah, that’s a lot, and as a writer of comics and novels myself, I totally believe that those are all for the plots of the main games and don’t even touch on the side quests. Remember, the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise is HUGE, and has a lot going on in each title. That’s a lot of dialogue and story elements to cover.

It makes you wonder how many books will be needed for the next game that Monolith Soft makes…
