Atlus Is Teasing Multiple Games For 2025

What Are They Up To...?

Several game developers and publishers have done incredibly well in 2024. Unlike many other companies that have done rather controversial things or haven’t listened to their fanbases, these have done right by gamers and produced legendary titles. Atlus happens to be one of those companies that has done well because the developer hasn’t missed this year between Persona 3 Reload, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, and Metaphor ReFantazio. All three games were received well and sold well, leaving many to wonder what would happen in 2025.

To that end, Persona Central was able to get word about the “aspirations” of the Atlus team in 2025, and multiple members teased that the crew is working on multiple titles that haven’t been announced yet. For example, director and producer Kazuhisa Wada noted:

“2025 is a year where we’ll carefully steer the helm of several large-scale projects that are on track and staying the course, so that they don’t shift direction. It’s also the time for us to lay the groundwork for a variety of products, so we’ll be proceeding carefully.”

That would imply that not only are familiar franchises getting new entries (or being remade/remastered) but more new IPs could be made. Naoya Maeda is one of the key people behind Persona, and he teased:

“It’s regretful that I’m not able to give you more details about the title I’m currently working on, but I am confident that it will offer your readers an exciting new experience.”

Many do hope that Persona 6 will FINALLY get announced soon, and some “new experiences” will help make it stand out from its predecessors. Finally, Shinjiro Takada is the manager behind one of the internal dev teams, and he noted:

“There’s a title we’re hoping to announce as soon as possible.”

So, yeah, they’re currently really busy! We can’t wait to see what comes out of all this, especially since Atlus has been on a roll as of late. As for what those games could be, we can only speculate.
