Rage of the Dragons Neo Demo Will Be At Steam Next Fest

By Kevin KellyOctober 13, 2024
Rage of the Dragons

This is clearly the year of the fighting games as the Neo Geo classic, inspired by the Double Dragon series – Rage of the Dragons, is coming to consoles and Steam. The tag team fighting game features the two Double Dragon brothers, and 12 other fighters, as they have reunited after a traumatic event. With the Black Dragon’s powers out in the wild, Jimmy Le…wis and Billy Lewis are taking things to the streets again with different partners to stop it.

Although the Online Beta sign-ups have passed and is underway, the new port will have a Steam Next Fest exclusive single-player demo that enables Versus and Challenge modes. The game will feature Ranking and Casual matches.

Piko Interactive and QUByte are collaborating to bring Rage of the Dragons Neo back into the fold. QUByte has a two-part YouTube series going through the various mechanics of the upcoming new port.

Rage of the Dragons NEO will be available on PlayStation 4 | 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. The release date is unknown.
