Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club Gets New Trailer + 3-Part Demo!

Won't you tell me your thoughts?

Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club

I’ll admit, I didn’t see Nintendo making a new entry in a franchise that hadn’t been around in 30 years. Yet, by all accounts, Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club will be a grand-scale mystery mixed with some very overt horror. If you listened to the newest episode of the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast, you’ll have heard about some of the “gory details” you’ll witness in this game, making it something that not everyone will want to play. However, The Big N wants to give potential players a taste of what’s to come before release.

To that end, Emio—The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club will receive a three-part demo that starts on the 19th. In total, you’ll get to play the opening four chapters of the game, and if you’re still invested by the time the rest of the title releases, you can simply transfer your saved data.

For those who want a look at the game in-depth, take a look at the trailer below:
