Capcom Unleashes Epic Trailer for X-Men: Children of the Atom

Capcom recently released a trailer from the X-Men: Children of The Atom Trailer from their Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics game. This was the first fighting game from Capcom for the Marvel series. Or Earth-30847, as you will. Cyclops, Wolverine, Psylocke, and some of the best X-Men take on Magneto and some of the popular choices from the series.

Hot off the heels of Super Street Fighter 2, Capcom took the series post The Punisher and created a versus game to literally kick off a memorable collaboration. Compared to their flagship fighting game series, X-Men had a faster feel as well as continuing the action after a round was done similar to Killer Instinct.

Bengus’ take on Jim Lee’s run of X-Men breathed a new take to Marvel’s favorite family post-X-Men The Animated Series. Some voice actors reprised their roles for the game. Akuma also makes an appearance in the game, too. Training Mode can be seen here with both hit and hurt boxes displayed. The gallery will also have several sketches from characters to better look of their backgrounds. No definite release date has been given for the collection as of yet.

Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will be available later this year on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. If you’re wondering why there’s no Xbox version, we’re right alongside you with that question.
