Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK Anime Film Announced

By Josh PiedraAugust 17, 2024

Just when you thought it was over, it just comes back for more! It was announced that Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK will premiere in Japanese theaters on November 8.

THE LAST ATTACK

Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK is a film that will compile the THE FINAL CHAPTERS TV anime.

A promotional trailer for the movie was released which you can check out below:

The movie is described as follows:

Attack on Titan The Movie: THE LAST ATTACK will reconstruct both parts of Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS  into one 145-minute film. The compilation film is directed by series director Yuichiro Hayashi who said in a comment about THE LAST ATTACK that “I originally drew the storyboards [for THE FINAL CHAPTERS] with the idea that it would be watched as a single movie. So, having the opportunity to have everyone watch it in the best possible environment, the theater, is a dream come true for me.” He also noted that the visuals have been updated from the original versions for the theatrical release.

As with the last special, the theme song for THE LAST ATTACK will be Linked Horizon’s “To You 2,000… or… 20,000 Years From Now…,“ which of course references the story itself. The audio has also been upgraded to a 5.1 surround soundscape.
