For weeks now, we have known that Kingdom Hearts 4 would appear at the D23 Disney showcase. In what capacity or in what regard, we did not know. Last night, Disney confirmed on their social media that they will have some of the voice actors show up. There will also be a full panel dedicated to Kingdom Hearts 4.

The panel will be called Deep Dive into Kingdom Hearts. If you are a Kingdom Hearts fan, the term Deep Dive has been a staple since the first Kingdom Hearts. The very first secret episode in Kingdom Hearts was titled “Another Side, Another Story [Deep Dive].” It was our first introduction to Roxas as a concept. Just thought I would add that little tidbit!
The press release we got also warns us that the Live Panel won’t be saved as a VOD once it is done. If you want to watch this, you will need to do it live.
The explanation of the panel is as follows: “Join us for a journey through light and darkness as we commemorate 25 years of KINGDOM HEARTS. Discover how this saga united Disney, Pixar, and Square Enix, with insights from the creative minds, character voices, and more behind the magic.“
The livestream of the Deep Dive into Kingdom Hearts panel will be live August 15th at 4:30 PM PT / 7:30 PM ET.
