Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Saiyan and Namek Saga Trailer

By Scott AdamsJuly 30, 2024

This morning, the highly anticipated character trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero was released, surprising fans with an in-depth look at the Saiyan Saga and Namek Saga from the iconic Dragon Ball Z series.

The trailer features beloved characters such as Cui, Nail, and every form of Frieza. Notably, the entire Ginyu Force makes an appearance, with a dramatic cut scene hinting at the pivotal moment when Captain Ginyu attempts to take over Goku’s body. This scene suggests a potential “what-if” scenario, possibly allowing players to alter the storyline, such as having Goku evade Ginyu’s body-switching attack.

We also see some amazing voice acting especially between Sean Schemmel as Goku and Damian Mills as Frieza. Christopher Sabat is still amazing as Vegeta and a certain voice line sounds nearly identical to a Vegeta voice line in Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero will be released on October 11th, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC. Be sure to read our preview of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero 2024 Summer Game Fest.
