Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was announced last year, but things have been quiet on the Konami front ever since. That changed today during the Xbox Showcase, where an official trailer was dropped, showing off the game’s graphics, storyline, and gameplay. For those who don’t recall the PS2-era classic, this is the origin story for the entire franchise. We get to meet Naked Snake, a special ops soldier who is tasked with going behind enemy lines and completing a mission without being seen by the enemy. However, things will quickly go wrong and send ripples that will affect generations to come.
In the trailer, we see Naked Snake get his orders, dive into hostile territory, and slowly take foes out as only a Snake like him can do. There are many teases to what the game will offer, and that includes some new looks for familiar faces. While Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater doesn’t have a release date yet, it’s promising to be an impressive title once it arrives:
