Metaphor: ReFantazio Awakens With A New Trailer

Awaken Your Archetype
By William "Shadowz" KokJune 7, 2024

Summer Games Fest and ATLUS unveiled the newest trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio.

The trailer opens with a person explaining the situation in the world of Metaphor. That heroic virtues exist in all things. But people oppress and cause conflict. The main protagonist can use the magic of archetypes, forms that are manifestations of the virtues within themselves. Players will be recruiting others to join in the fight and they too can utilize the power of Archetypes. The player will gather different archetypes and job classes that allow other skills in battle, like Pugilist, Knight, and Seeker. Use this power to take control during the Royal Tournament.

Later during the day, ATLUS released the second part of their ATLUS Exclusive showcase for Metaphor: ReFantazio. It goes even further regarding the Archetype and Job systems. We also see the main hub which you can upgrade and unlock archetypes. It is named The Akedemia. It was also revealed that the total amount of Archetype combinations available in the game is forty. So it is recommended to experiment with many different team compositions. You can view the entire Spotlight video, features, and details below.

Metaphor: ReFantazio will release October 11th, 2024 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
