Clock Tower: Rewind Pre-Orders and Collector’s Edition Are Almost Upon Us

It's About Time!

Clock Tower: Rewind Limited Run Games

Last year, Wayforward and Limited Run Games announced a partnership to bring cult classic horror game Clock Tower to the west. The original game came out for the Super Nintendo in 1995. So a western localization is long overdue. Thankfully, we’ve only had to wait a year since the announcement of the localization. Clock Tower: Rewind pre-orders will open tomorrow, May 31st at 10am EDT.

The Clock Tower localization will include new cutscenes, music, and translations in multiple languages. Previously titled Clock Tower: Port+, the port recently resurfaced as Clock Tower: Rewind. And in edition to offering a physical edition of the port, Limited Run Games will also have collector’s editions available.

And what spooky goodies does this collector’s edition have in store? Quite a few! The Clock Tower: Rewind Collector’s Edition contains the following:

  • A physical copy of Clock Tower: Rewind
  • The Clock Tower: Rewind Collector’s Edition box
  • The Clock Tower: Rewind original soundtrack
  • A 12″ x 16″ double-sided poster featuring original art by horror master Shintaro Kago
  • Two acrylic standees
  • A Dan Barrows stressball
  • A ham object enamel pin
  • A demon idol keychain
  • A sticker sheet

The collector’s edition will set you back $124.99. But in a day in which many collector’s editions retail for upwards of $200, this one includes quite a bit for the price point.

Of course, you can also pre-order just the physical game for $34.99. Clock Tower: Rewind will be available for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Pre-orders will open here tomorrow and close on June 30th. So you have some time, but don’t wait too long or Scissorman will get you. Or, uh, the game will sell out.

As for a release date, the pre-orders will ship sometime between October 11th and November 11th. Hopefully we’ll see it arrive right in time for Halloween.

A big fan of Final Fantasy VII, Uncharted, and Metal Gear Solid, Andrew loves great stories and any and all things horror flavored. He also works in the world of interactive theater, its own kind of gaming. Andrew gets his powers from listening to indie folk music and drinking aloe water.
