Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Now Releasing One Week Earlier

Vengeance Comes Early

Originally scheduled to be released on June 21, 2024, it is now scheduled to release one week earlier. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is now set to release on June 14, 2024.

This was announced by ATLUS and clarified for those who have already preordered the game, it will be adjusted to release on that day accordingly.

Those who have pre-ordered the game will have their orders automatically adjusted to the updated release date. Thank you so much for your continued support!

No reasons were given for why the earlier release of the game. However, now it will not compete with the expansion of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree which releases on the original date of June 21. So if you wanted more Shin Megami Tensei, you are in luck.

Shin Megami V: Vengeance is the expanded version of the original Shin Megami Tensei V in which they added more demons, characters, and another route and ending that will diverge mid-point of the main game, Originally released only on Nintendo Switch, it will be now release on all major systems for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. The game’s original synopsis is as follows:

Embark on this definitive version of the critically acclaimed Shin Megami Tensei V, massively expanded with a brand-new storyline featuring new locations, demons, and choices to make that will dictate the fate of all existence.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on June 14, 2024.
