Genshin Impact Game Art Exhibition Goes Online August 28

By Josh PiedraAugust 23, 2023

After its successful premiere of Genshin Impact Official Game Art Exhibition “Endless Adventure in Teyvat: Fontaine Edition” in Paris, New York, Taipei and Tokyo, HoYoverse today announced that the exhibition will soon go virtual with free admission in 15 languages starting Aug 28. Held by the global hit video game Genshin Impact, the Exhibition has attracted over 11,000 fans and visitors in Paris, New York, Taipei and Tokyo last weekend. With over 100 design drafts and concept art as well as fan art from invited artists and the fan community on exhibit, the exhibition continues to gain momentum across the world.

Genshin Impact Official Game Art exhibition has brought forth the excitement surrounding the launch of the new fantasy nation Fontaine, allowing visitors to see its creation process behind the scenes. With 30+ concept art illustrations and 60 concept sketches, both visitors and players were able to seek the creation philosophies, including the architectural designs inspired by Baroque and Art Deco styles, in-game landscapes echoing European mountains, and enthralling life-sized models and miniatures. As an added delight, visitors were also able to savor an early preview of the full musical scores of Fontaine’s main theme and its dynamic battle music, as well as experiencing the unparalleled underwater exploration.

In addition, the constant foot traffic also headed toward the artworks from the thriving and creative Genshin Impact community. Fans and visitors were treated with over 40 artists and content creators presenting their works and fan art altogether, including illustrator and graphic artist Solène Debiès, sumi-e artist Yu-Ki Nishimoto, artist Yuzhi Zhou, illustrator Dandi Gu, and contemporary painter Maxence Ma.

The enthusiasm endured as the joy of cosplayers and fans went viral in the exhibition. They warmly embraced additional on-site activities and game trials, and also got the chance to partake in various Fontaine-themed challenges to claim exclusive rewards as a token of shared joy and memories.

From Aug 19 to 27, Genshin Impact Art Exhibition will continue to greet fans and visitors in New York, Paris, Taipei, and Tokyo, and become available online all-free in 15 languages on Aug 28.
