Octopath Traveler II Crosses One Million Sold

By Todd BlackJune 7, 2023
Octopath Traveler II Review

If you’ve been following us on Outerhaven for a while, you’ll know that we were very much anticipating Octopath Traveler II when it was released back in February. The original title by Team Asano and Square Enix was a throwback to old-school RPGs but with multiple twists in terms of visuals and gameplay. The title was a hit, and many hoped the sequel would be just as good. As we noted in our review, it was on par with what came before, and so it shouldn’t be a surprise that the sequel has sold well.

Square Enix revealed that the game has crossed one million units sold, even making some special art to celebrate the event!

#OctopathTraveler2 has surpassed one million units shipped and downloaded worldwide!

We are truly grateful for your support!

So if you were one of the people who bought Octopath Traveler II, congrats! You were part of what made the game successful.
