30XX Leaves Early Access on August 9

Nina's back in Batterystaple Games 30xx

It was announced via the official 30XX Discord that the Mega Man X-inspired roguelite sequel to 20XX is leaving Early Access on August 9. This comes one week after the announcement of Patch 0.55 and the brand-new level builder along with the fact that the game is coming to Nintendo Switch.

What wasn’t stated with the Switch announcement but is now confirmed, is that the game’s 1.0 release will occur on the same date that it launches on Nintendo Switch, also on August 9. The game is also available on PC via Steam.

The game has gone through extensive development and changes since its Pre-Alpha days a couple of years ago, to which we had the pleasure of playing, testing, and in some cases, streaming. Features of the game now include:

  • 100s of power-ups and weapons
  • Two characters: Nina and Ace
  • Non-permadeath modes
  • Wild challenges
  • Co-op both online and local
  • Full level builder
  • and more!

You can check out the trailer for the game below:
