IGEA Announces 2023 Australian Game Developer Awards (ADGAs) Event [AUST]

AGDAs

The Australian Game Developer Awards (AGDAs) is the Australian games industry’s night of nights where we join together and celebrate the outstanding games and individual achievements by the Australian game development community. The 2023 AGDAs will be taking place on the evening of Wednesday October 4th (as part of Melbourne International Games Week) at The Forum Melbourne, a stunning and iconic live music venue.

The 2022 AGDAs winners such as Cult of the Lamb, Heavenly Bodies, Wylde Flowers and Queer Man Peering Into A Rock Pool.jpg have gone on to achieve multiple nominations and wins at games awards ceremonies around the world.  We know that 2023 is brimming with even more amazing Australian-made games just waiting to be recognised.

The 2022 AGDAs brought in the largest audience ever with over 1600 people joining us either online via our live broadcast or in-person at The Forum for the ceremony and we’re expecting even greater numbers and interest this year.

By delivering the AGDAs, IGEA celebrates and elevates the diverse and talented Australian games industry offering 13 game awards as well as the 4 personal and studio awards.  As always, we have taken community feedback to improve the process and tweak categories to ensure our awards are reflective of the local industry.
