‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ Official Trailer is Out, and it Looks Amazing

The very first trailer for ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beast’ has been released, and right away, I can see several things that make this Transformer fan very happy. The design of Optimus Prime has changed from the monstrosity that was in the Michael Bay Transformers has been released with that from the design of ‘BumbleBee’. This makes sense, as this is a reboot of sorts that takes place in the very same universe. Still, the Bayverse does have an influence on the movie, as I understand.

Of course, I can’t say anything without mentioning the appearance of Arcee (FUCK YES), Optimus Primal (FUCK YES), Cheetor, Rhinox, Airazor, and several other iconic Transformers.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts serves as a prequel to BumbleBee, which doesn’t make any sense, as Optimus Prime sent Bumble Bee to Earth in that film. Yet, in this trailer, he and a bunch of other transformers are on Earth. I’m as confused as you are.

This new film will be the seventh in the Transformers movies (8th, if you count the original animated film) and will include Petter Cullen reprising his role as Optimus Prime, Ron Perlman as the voice of Optimus Prime, and Anthony Ramos (In the Heights) and Dominique Fishback (The Hate You Give), who’ll be the latest set of humans to work with the Autobots and Maximals, as they help defend the planet yet again, against the Terrorcons and Predacons. I don’t know who decided on this choice or why, but the last time I checked, the Terrorcons nor Predacons were ever a threat. But we’ll have to wait until to movie is released to see how this all pans out.

Transformers: Rise of the Beast will arrive in theaters on June 23rd, 2023. I guess I better grab a ticket when they’re available.

P.S. – That final Transformer at the end of the trailer isn’t Jazz. It’s Mirage. Yeah, I’m a bit frustrated about the vehicle change, but he looks freaking cool.
