Super Sonic Appears in Sonic Frontiers TGS 2022 Trailer

By Keith MitchellSeptember 14, 2022
Sonic Frontiers - TGS 2022 Trailer

If you didn’t know already, today marks the start of the Tokyo Game Show 2022, and right out of the gate, Sega dropped a new trailer showing Sonic going Super Sonic in the upcoming Sonic Frontiers.

That’s not all, as the trailer also features the newest song from Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK, “Vandalize,” which was recently announced as the official ending theme song for Sonic Frontiers. I’m loving the beat.

However, as excited as I am to share the news, I want to warn you that this trailer does contain a spoiler or two. That said, you are playing to go into Sonic Frontiers, fresh. I don’t recommend watching the trailer. But if that doesn’t bother you, then watch away.

Fingers crossed that Sonic Frontiers is actually good and breaks the Sonic Cycle once and for all. A 3D Sonic title that doesn’t disappoint, and has plenty of action and storytelling would be a perfect way to enjoy the winter. So far, the previews seem positive, and that gives me hope. I’m rooting for ya, Sonic!

Sonic Frontiers releases for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on November 8, 2022.
