There were a few standout titles in my opinion with the Gamescom showcase we had in 2022. The one I am now most looking forward to is Lies of P from Neowiz.
In Lies of P you are in the shoes of Pinocchio as he tries to deduce what happened to the city of Krat. Throughout the game you will have the option to lie to figure out certain reveals or if he wants to stay as a puppet made by Geppetto. The combat is very inspired by the souls genre but the aesthetic is closer to the Bloodborne video game. I am excited to see more of Neowiz entering the fray into the mainstream with their development skills! This looks to be a very promising title from them and I am excited to see how the narrative works with the gameplay.
Lies of P will release on Xbox consoles, Gamepass, PlayStation consoles, and PC in 2023.
