How to Unlock Casey Jones in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge

By Keith MitchellJune 15, 2022
TMNT Shredder's Revenge - Unlocking Casey Jones

By default, you have access to six playable characters in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. It is also possible to unlock Casey Jones, who was revealed as a playable character not too long ago. But how do you unlock the hockey stick-loving vigilante? Well, it’s pretty simple.

Unlocking Casey Jones

To unlock Casey Jones, you simply have to complete the story mode in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. Doing so in the arcade mode doesn’t count; it has to be the story mode. Once you do this, you’ll be rewarded with Casey Jones.

Is it worth unlocking Casey Jones? It most certainly is. He has the same reach as Donatello with three stars, but he’s also faster and just as strong. His special attacks also have a bit more utility as well.

This isn’t the first time that Casey Jones has been featured in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. He was a playable character in both Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Madness.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder’s Revenge releases on June 16, 2022, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam, Windows Store, Epic Games Store). It’s also backward compatible with the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

While you wait for the game to be released, maybe give our TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge review a read. Or check out our recent TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge 5-player co-op session, which was chaotic fun.
