Capcom Showcase Set For Next Week, Will Focus on Previously Announced Titles

By Keith MitchellJune 6, 2022
Capcom Showcase 2022

Hot on the heels of Summer Game Fest and Xbox & Bethesda’s gaming events scheduled for next week,  Capcom has joined the battle with its own event. The Capcom Showcase will be streamed on June 13th, 2022, at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET, on Twitch and YouTube.

This event will run for 35-minutes and will provide news and in-depth updates on PREVIOUSLY announced Capcom titles. Meaning, that you won’t be finding out about anything new. Sorry, no new Dino Crisis news for you!

Introducing the #CapcomShowcase, a new livestreamed digital event bringing you the latest #Capcom game information. Tune in on June 13, 3pm PT for around 35 minutes of news and in-depth updates on previously announced Capcom titles.https://t.co/fcLu2YjbYs pic.twitter.com/XHZu7iKJzz

As for what to expect, we’ll likely get new information on Resident Evil 4 Remake, Street Fighter 6, ExoPrimal, and Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. We may also get news on that Resident Evil Village DLC that Capcom has been working on. The last time we heard anything other than a confirmation was during the E3 2021 digital event.

In all honestly, I expect Capcom to spend some time on Street Fighter 6. More specifically, addressing those leaks and/or rumors that have been making the rounds.

Be prepared to catch a Shoryuken to the face on June 13th, 2022. And of course, we’ll be right there with you, reporting on the news or maybe live streaming the event.
