The DioField Chronicle: Not Final Fantasy Tactics

PlayStation’s State of Play revealed a new Square Enix game that had tactical RPG elements reminiscent of a long loved game Final Fantasy Tactics. The game is called The DioField Chronicle.

There were rumors of a Final Fantasy Tactics Remake but it appears that instead we get a whole new game with a similar engine and a different story. I am excited to see where this goes and to see if this title becomes a staple in the Square Enix Library.

The DioField Chronicle will be released on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox one, Xbox series S/X, and Nintendo Switch in sometime 2022.
