FIFA, Call of Duty and Mario Top Best-Selling Gaming Brands In UK

By Todd BlackMarch 30, 2022
FIFA

The world of video games is diverse, and that’s by design. Gamers like different things, different playstyles, different kinds of characters. So it’s up to developers to bank off of that and make a wide variety of brands for them. But, it goes deeper than that, in the three “major gaming regions” (US, UK, Japan), the people there like different things as well. Thus, it’s interesting to see what gaming titles and brands do best there. The UK has never been shy about sharing its numbers, and now, they’ve revealed the best-selling game brands across gaming history in their region. The top 3? FIFA, Call of Duty and Mario.

This honestly shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, FIFA is HUGE in Europe because of the love of the sport of Futbol/soccer, so them selling millions upon millions there every year isn’t that hard to fathom. Call of Duty has been around for almost 2 decades and ever since the Modern Warfare boom their titles sell like hotcakes in places like the US and UK. And as for Mario…well…it’s Mario, so that tracks.

Here are the top 10 in the best-selling brands category for the UK:

  1. FIFA
  2. Call of Duty
  3. Mario
  4. Grand Theft Auto
  5. LEGO
  6. Star Wars
  7. The Sims
  8. Pokemon
  9. Assassin’s Creed
  10. Need For Speed

You can check out the full list here.
