Elden Ring Patch Notes 1.03.2 Posted

By Keith MitchellMarch 23, 2022
Elden Ring -patch notes V1.03.2 - 1920x1080

During the early morning, Fromsofrware and Bandai Namco had taken the Elden Ring servers down to do some maintenance. While the maintenance period took longer than expected, the Elden Ring servers are back online. Of course, anytime maintenance is done, you have to wonder if there were any changes to the game, such as buffs or nerfs.

However, in this recent update, patch 1.03.2, it doesn’t appear that any changes to the game have been introduced. At least, none that we can see via the patch notes. It looks that this maintenance window was to address several bugs in the game.

Major items included in the latest update

  • Fixed a bug that sometime prevented players from advancing NPC Nepheli Loux’s questline
  • Fixed a bug that causes the playable character to die when trying to descend from a spot near Bestial Sanctum
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Ash of War, Endure from taking effect
  • Fixed a bug in multiplayer that allowed players to teleport others to incorrect map coordinates

Sadly, these patch notes don’t make any mention regarding addressing the PC performance. Something that has seemed to be getting worse with every patch thus far.  While the performance hasn’t impacted me much, I’ve seen some other players’ gameplay footage and the stuttering is a very real concern.

I’m sure that if there have been any unnoticed changes, the Elden Ring community will don their super snooper hats and get to the bottom of things. Until then, keep on playing this amazing game as normal.

Elden Ring is currently available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
