Monster Hunter Rise Dominates Japanese Nintendo eShop In 2021

When it comes to sales, it’s not just important to look at the physical sales of games, but also, the digital sales. The Nintendo eShop has many titles on it between the AAA titles and the indie titles within its grasp. And at the end of 2021, there is a very understandable leader at the top of the Japanese charts, and that’s Monster Hunter Rise.

Why is this understandable? Japan is the biggest buyer of Monster Hunter games, even with the series surge in the west. And Rise has been selling very well ever since its launch. Nintendo released the top 30 games sold in Japan on the eShop, so see what has done well in Japan this year below:
