Is Zack Snyder Teasing A Return Of The Snyderverse?

By Todd BlackNovember 26, 2021
Zack Snyder's Justice League, The Snyder Cut, Snyderverse

There are a lot of things to be thankful for this year if you were a comic book fan. Good books, great movies, and a LOT of long-awaited returns and arrivals across all mediums. But for some, the biggest thing to be thankful for was that of the arrival (at last) of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. This was the culmination of the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement and it paid off big time. But, naturally, fans want more as the “true justice” hasn’t been done. And Zack Snyder might be teasing more justice coming…

You see, Zack Snyder (like many out there) went and posted a special Thanksgiving post on Vero (where he has posted LOTS of things about the Snyderverse over the years) and the picture below is from that video post.

At first, you’re just going to look at the turkey, right? But look to the left of it and you’ll see “Absolute Final Crisis“, a book on top of that, and two notebooks. He doesn’t do anything without clear intent and placement, so this means…something.

But what? Well, Final Crisis is the book in which Darkseid gets the Anti-Life Equation and almost conquers everything. And the Anti-Life Equation is the focus of the first Justice League movie, and what is to come if the next two get made.

So, is he thankful for that book because of what it inspired? Or is he thankful that he’s going to get his chance to tell his own “Final Crisis” tale? Fingers crossed we find out soon!
