Nintendo has been doing their best to go and do what they can with their mobile gaming market. And now, they’ve teamed up with Niantic (the team behind Pokemon GO) to go and make their next title which has been revealed (and partially released) to be Pikmin Bloom.
The game will have you doing the most basic of things: walking. As you walk, you collect seeds and then use your steps to grow Pikmin as well as flowers across the area you’re walking. After getting so many steps in you’ll get more of the plant-like creatures, be able to feed them nectar so they can bloom, and then over time you’ll literally “bloom the world”.
It’s clearly meant to be a very relaxing game. Especially since there’s no real gameplay outside of the walking and interacting with your Pikmin. However, Pikmin Bloom does have you able to see your progress via videos at the end of the day, and show you just how many flowers you’ve made all over the area you walk.
