Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy in development for PS4 and PS5

By Keith MitchellOctober 8, 2021
Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy

Listen up my fellow Mobile Suit Gundam fans, a new game is in development. However, we don’t know much about it yet. A new trailer appeared on YouTube yesterday, for a game called Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy. Seeing that this title is part of the Mobile Suit Gundam Battle series, this may end up being yet another free-to-play game that focuses on team-based gameplay.

Despite not being given information directly, there are a few hints. The logo for the game has a Zeon logo in it.  We can also see a person driving a jeep, Alma Stirner, with a castle in the distance. Alma Stirner has a Zeon uniform on as well. This tells me that this will focus on the Principality of Zeon and could focus on a side colony, possibly Side 3.

This is going to be, yet again, exclusive to the PlayStation. Would it kill Bandai Namco to bring these games to the PC for once? Lastly, Bandai Namco has stated that more information regarding the game will be released on October 19th, 2021.

Check out the teaser trailer below.

While I’m eager to see what’s in store for this game, I really am getting tired of the whole VS. and online gaming for these Gundam games. I miss the days of a fun and enjoyable single-player, story-driven game similar to Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story that debuted on the Sega Saturn. That was a great game.

Look for coverage regarding Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy when Bandai Namco releases more info, here on The Outerhaven.
