Forza Horizon 5 has officially gone gold

By Keith MitchellOctober 18, 2021
Which edition of Forza Horizon 5 should you purchase?

Heads up, Forza Horizon fans, during the recent Forza Horizon 5: Let’s ¡Go! – Episode 10 live stream, it was mentioned that Forza Horizon 5 had gone gold. The version of the game that was shown off during the recent live stream was also the final build of the game. Which the participants were happy to announce.

What does this mean for you? It means that Forza Horizon 5 will not be delayed in any shape, and once November 9th gets here, you’ll be able to play the game on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

They also did mention that information on pre-load will be announced in the upcoming future. They didn’t say if that would be during another live stream or via Xbox News Wire. Either way, it’s great to see that Forza Horizon 5 won’t be delayed, and we’ll be playing it in just a few weeks.

Also, keep in mind that this doesn’t mean there will be a demo, as it was announced a few weeks back that Forza Horizon 5 will not have a demo. I know that the previous games did feature demo, so we could get a taste of what’s to come. Sadly, that’s not the case this time.

Currently, you can pre-order the game on the Xbox Store, and on Steam. The game comes in three different editions; standard ($59.99), deluxe ($79.99), and premium ($99.99). If you’re a member of Xbox Game Pass, you’ll be able to play the standard edition on launch day.

Being a car nut, I’ve enjoyed the previous Forza Horizon (and Forza Motorsports) games, and this is easily my most anticipated game of 2021. Sure, there are a few other games I might be interested in, but this is the game I’ll be zooming well into 2022 with. What about you? Are you looking forward to Forza Horizon 5? Let us know in the comments.
