Deep Silver Fishlabs is teasing a Chorus announcement for tomorrow

By Keith MitchellSeptember 22, 2021
Chorus game

We could very well get a look at Chorus or ChorVS, the upcoming space combat title that’s been in development by Deep Silver Fishlabs.

According to the official Twitter page, something is happening tomorrow. Along with the message is a short clip of Chorus. I’ve been following Chorus ever since it was announced during the 2020 Xbox Showcase, even had some conversations with the developers.

In Chorus, players will assume the role of Nara as she embarks on a mission to destroy the same organization that created her. And she’ll do this with a sentient spacecraft called Forsaken. Chorus is a space combat game with lots of action, and I happen to love those types of games. I grew up on those games, including Wing Commander, Wing Commander Privateer, Star Wars: X-Wing, to name a few. Sadly, the genre has seen better days, but thankfully a new few titles, Chorus included, has slowly been changing this for the better.

There hasn’t been much regarding new information being released for Chorus since it was last shown during Gamescom 2020. Needless to say, any new information is good information — outside of it being delayed.

As for what Fishlabs could be referring to, I’m hoping we’re getting either a release date, some new gameplay, or maybe even a demo. Either way, as long as I get to see more of Chorus in action, I’m good.

Chorus: Rise as One will be available for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
