Luke is the final Street Fighter V Season Pass 5 character reveal

Just a few minutes ago, Capcom revealed the final character to be added to the Street Fighter V roster and his name is Luke. According to Capcom, Luke will be a key player in the future of Street Fighter. Now, considering that Street Fighter V’s days are likely coming to an end, this can only mean that Luke is going to be a major component for the next Street Fighter game. I’m not going to read into this any further, at least not for now.

Luke looks to be a mixed martial artist and uses a number of hand and leg-based special moves. And unless I’m imagining things, is Luke throwing a Sonic Boom-like move? He also looks to have several full-screen projectiles, target combos and looks that he can rival several fan favorites. Though I have to be honest, I’m not a big fan of his design. Sadly, Luke won’t be available to try out until November 2021.

Revealed by Street Fighter V Director Takayuki Nakayama and Producer Shuhei Matsumoto during Summer Update 2021, Luke is the fifth character for Season 5 and marks the final fighter added to Street Fighter V, bringing the total roster to 45. This brand new character will help expand the world of Street Fighter and provide fans with a glimpse into the future. Based off the brief gameplay video that was shown, Luke is a fighter that specializes in moving fast and hitting hard, so opponents will need to be on high alert and brace for impact. More backstory information and gameplay details will be shared leading up to Luke’s November 2021 release.
