Bravely Default II heads to Steam next month

By Keith MitchellAugust 26, 2021
Bravely Default II Final Demo Nintendo Switch

Developed by Square Enix Claytechworks Co. Ltd and published by Square Enix RPG, Bravely Default II is headed to the PC via Steam on September 2nd, 2021. Once a Nintendo Switch exclusive, it will now capture the hearts and frustrate PC gamers just as it did on the Nintendo Switch.

This announcement comes via the official Square Enix Twitter account not too long ago. Of course, this is going to be more than just a mere post, as the PC version will also include support for various resolutions, English and Japanese audio, and text support for the following languages; English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

Of course, coming to the PC does mean you lose that portability that the Switch afforded, or will you? Interesting enough, this is the first Bravely Default title that will make its way to the PC, as the original game in the series still hasn’t made the jump over to the PC.

Not only has the game been announced for the PC, but the Steam store page also is live, and you can pre-order the game now. In doing so, you’ll snag the game with a 10% discount, with the game priced at $53.99.

The acclaimed RPG #BravelyDefault II makes its way to Steam on September 2, 2021!

Join Seth, Gloria, Elvis, and Adelle as they venture through the land of Excillant in search of four elemental Crystals. 💎

It looks like PC gamers will have another console-only RPG experience to look forward to, and I, for one, couldn’t be happier. I look forward to Bravely Default II on the PC via Steam on September 2nd, 2021.

What do you think about the announcement? Let us know in the comments!
