The 2020 Toyota Supra GR is heading to Forza Horizon 5

By Keith MitchellAugust 9, 2021

Today during the Forza Horizon 5 Livestream, the Playground Games crew revealed the next car that will be available when Forza Horizon 5 is released. The 2020 Toyota Supra GR, which will be available in the game on day one.

A sexy, yet expensive car, and one I’ve seen cruising up and down the highway near me, is a welcomed addition to the upcoming title. I also loved that the car was introduced by showcasing the car, complete with some engine revving; it’s great stuff for car fans like myself.

A long-time fan of the Toyota Supra line-up, this beast of a car is priced at $45,000 and can go all the way up to $60,000 or more when adding upgrades.  For example, the 2022 Toyota Supra A91-CF Edition is priced at $65,000, complete with 382 horsepower, and can hit 0-6 in just 3.9 seconds.

Now, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about the 2020 GR Supra making its way into Forza Horizon 5. It was originally leaked a month ago, I’m not sure if many fans of Forza Horizon had picked up on this. This leak not only confirmed that the car was heading to the game but as well as the body kit. This is a car that Toyota car fans wanted to see in Forza Horizon 4, but it never materialized. Well, it’s coming now!

We also got a chance to check out the 2020 Toyota Supra GR in action, zipping along the Rocky Coast, one of the biomes in Forza Horizon 5. Check out the 2020 Toyota Supra GR in action, below.

Owners of the car will no doubt be happy to see their beloved car being included in Forza Horizon 5.
