Deep Insanity Project Receives Television Anime

Square Enix announced that their Deep Insanity project will be receiving a television anime adaptation called The Lost Child. The anime is slated to premiere this October!

There will be some overlap here, however. The Deep Insanity project also encompasses an ongoing manga series as well as a game. The anime is said to take place between the manga and the game’s stories.

Square Enix describes the anime as follows:

Madness and unawakening sleep, Randolph syndrome. This new illness was slowly but steadily approaching humanity. The cause is the huge underground world Asylum that appeared in Antarctica. There are strange creatures different from the earth, and unknown resources. Because of huge wealth, organizational plots, or your own ambitions people bet their lives on the depths of the mysterious new world, and here alone, a young man with a wish in his heart was trying to challenge the front line of Asylum.
