Lost Judgment Revealed For September 24 Release

SEGA announced that Judgment, the Yakuza Spinoff game, will be receiving a sequel titled Lost Judgment. It will be released worldwide simultaneously on September 24.

Taking place after the events of the first game, detective Takayuki Yagami is back and is caught in another deep murder case. This time it revolves a case in which the main suspect supposedly acted in response to a failed justice system.

Creator Toshiro Nagoshi explained that this game will be aimed for a worldwide simultaneous release. Also showed in the presentation asides from the trailer is some gameplay, including a new Snake fighting style. It will build and improve upon the system that the first game introduced. Such as a new parkour system, mini-games and bring back familiar locales like Yokohama from Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

A new sub-story addition to the game that Nagoshi unveiled is School Stories. This will involve Yagami in a high school setting, helping kids as well as partaking in the school activities like a dance recital. Nagoshi describes it as a reprieve from the serious suspense drama of the main story.

Lost Judgment is scheduled for a September 24 release for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
