Project Triangle Strategy Producer Gives More Detail About The Game

By Todd BlackMarch 27, 2021

When Octopath Traveler was announced, no one was really sure what to make of it. But between the demo for the game and the full version that came out, fans (and us here at The Outerhaven) was hooked and the game sold really well. Now, the team behind that game is making something new with the tentatively titled Project Triangle Strategy (no, it’s just a working title, promise). The game was announced at last months’ Nintendo Direct and a demo showed the promise that the game had.

But the game itself is coming out in 2022 and fans want more details on what to expect. Thankfully, during a special Q&A, Producer Tomoya Asano spoke a little more about the game.

First off, he confirmed that there will be branching paths in Project Triangle Strategy that’ll bring players back for multiple runs:

We are planning for the game to have multiple endings. As for the game time, that’s still up in the air… we always aim for around the 50-hour mark, but it never seems to turn out that way.

He also noted that the game has “more characters than jobs in Bravely Default II” so there will be a lot to work with no doubt.

As for when we can expect more details: “Hopefully before it gets cold!!”

So there’s a lot to look forward to and hopefully we won’t have to wait too long into 2022 for the game to be expanded upon more.
