It was announced in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine that Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsawman manga series will be receiving a television anime adaptation. MAPPA will be handling the production of the anime.
MAPPA has been responsible for other shows such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan Final Season, Zankyou no Terror, Dororo, The God of High School, Banana Fish, Hajime no Ippo: Rising, and many others!
In addition, MAPPA will be opening an official Twitter account for the anime starting on Monday, December 14. VIZ Media is currently publishing the manga in North America with (as of the time of this post) two volumes currently available.
