Dante Returns to Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster as DLC

By William "Shadowz" KokAugust 12, 2020

For those who were worried that a certain Son of Sparda will not be returning to Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster, worry not as he is returning back to the game. Only that he will be available as DLC.

Since the first trailer and that Raidou Kuzunoha of Devil Summoner 2 appeared in place of Dante, many wonder if ATLUS weren’t able to get Capcom’s favorite demon slayer again for the HD remaster. Thankfully with the newest Japanese trailer , he will make his return to the game and will be voiced. The only thing is that he will be available as DLC content as part of the “Maniax Pack”.

Players will now be able to choose which character they will be meeting in the game. Should players want to play with Dante and not with Raido, they will have to change the setting in  the main menu. It will switch the appearances from Raidou to Dante in cut-scenes and in gameplay. The DLC will be available on launch day October 20 for the price of 980 yen in Japan.

While not announced yet, it is safe to say that Dante will likely also be released with the Western release in Spring 2021.

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster will be released on PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2021.
