As the famous line from Jaws goes, “We’re gonna need a bigger boat.” Except in this case, we’re gonna need a less haunted boat. In upcoming game Under, players take on the role of a World War I veteran aboard a sinking ship. If that wasn’t enough cause for alarm, the sinking ship has other passengers on it that seem to be of the otherworldly variety. Publisher Rogue recently released a trailer for the upcoming game, check it out:
People have already compared the game to PT, the Silent Hills demo that we all miss so dearly. While the two games share long and foreboding hallways, Under seems more akin to Layers of Fear 2, another first-person horror game onboard a haunted ship. Either way, it definitely fits well within the first-person survival horror genre.
While Under does not have a precise release date yet, it’s projected to come out towards the end of this year. Under will allow players to experience that sinking feeling on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch.
