The 450 Wrestling Podcast – Episode 51 – Drain The Swamp

By Todd BlackJune 28, 2020
450 Wrestling Podcast

The 450 Wrestling Podcast is here! And it has been yet another memorable week in the wrestling world, and not always in the best of ways!

First up, the guys talk about Raw and Smackdown. Raw continues to frustrate Todd in regards to how they’re handling Asuka and other talents. Smackdown meanwhile paid tribute to the Undertaker!

Then, in NXT, Todd and Matt note how there were MULTIPLE squash matches that were all but pointless. But the main event was rather good!

As they move to AEW, the “go home show” for Fyter Fest has come and gone, but did it set up the PPV well? What worked and what didn’t? And is Todd really a “hater” because he doesn’t like FTR matches???

Finally, in the news, the Speaking Out movement has escalated and various promotions have suspended or fired wrestlers! The guys discusses who has gotten the axe and who might be next. As well as Tessa Blanchard being fired from Impact due to contract issues, where might she end up next? NXT is aiming to counter-program AEW via the “return” of the Great American Bash, WWE employees have been drastically affected by Covid-19, and more!

So step into the ring and get in on the action with the 450 Wrestling Podcast!
