Square Enix shocked the gaming world yesterday by releasing the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo, much to our surprise. Especially since several of us had gotten the chance to play a demo, which wasn’t nearly as polished as this one, during PAX East 2020. So of course, we had to play this demo. 

Truth be told, I must have played this demo at least 10 times so far. It’s so well put together, the art direction is beautiful, the voice acting is superb and the updated combat system has grown on me. To think that I was one of the few that wasn’t looking forward to this game when it releases next month. Yeah, I already said I was wrong during PAX East 2020 and I’m not afraid to admit when I’m wrong.

So enjoy 48 minutes from the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo, from us. Then suffer until the full release date, which is April 10, 2020. Exclusively for the PlayStation 4, well for this year anyway.
