It was announced by Kadokawa that Akihito Tsukushi’s Made In Abyss series is receiving a sequel. It is unknown at this time if the sequel is in the form of a movie or a television anime series. All we know so far is that a teaser video was released that recapped the story so far and stated that a sequel is coming.

The anime originally aired in Japan in 2017 and won Anime of the Year at the 2018 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
