Fortnite Gets ‘Star Wars’ Content with a New Skin and a Star Destroyer

Fortnite

Star Wars is the latest franchise to get a crossover with Epic’s free-to-play battle royale shooter. An ‘Star Wars’ Imperial Stormtrooper skin is now available in Fortnite‘s item shop, and it most likely won’t be the last piece of content the game gets from a galaxy far, far away.

The skin will set you back 1,500 V-Bucks and it’s only available until Sunday, November 17. If you pick up the newly released Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on the Epic Games Store, you’ll get the skin for free as an added bonus, similar to the promotion Epic ran with the Bandit Psycho skin when Borderlands 3 launched in September.

A Star Destroyer is currently located in the skies above Fortnite‘s island, but it’s unclear if anything will come of it. Either way, the Stormtrooper skin says it’s part of the “Original Trilogy Set,” so expect to see more Star Wars stuff in Fortnite soon. Hopefully, we’ll see some prequel trilogy cosmetics or even a new limited-time mode to coincide with the release of The Rise of Skywalker.

Fornite is currently available to play on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, iOS and Android. It’s pretty much on every available platform.
