The Outer Worlds launch trailer wants to know what kind of hero you’ll be

By Keith MitchellOctober 18, 2019
The Outer Worlds

We’re a week away from the release of Obsidian Entertainments’ latest game, The Outer Worlds. As such, a new launch trailer has been released, which asks what kind of hero are you going to be.

Oh boy, these are the kind of games I enjoy. Just like the now-dead Mass Effect games, I got to play the hero, but I could do it the way I wanted to. Meaning I could be a boy scout and striving to be the best of the best. Or I can be a complete ass, with no regard to anyone or anything. C’mon, you know you love those types of games as well.

I already decided that my first playthrough is going to be me being a total jerk. I’m curious to see what the consequences will be by doing that. Oh, I’m also totally stealing that moon guy’s head, helmet or whatever that thing is. It’s mine!

Play the story, collect loots of gear, and explore a new world (not open-world) on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Epic Games Store) this October 25th, 2019. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass, so if you subscribe to that, check it out on there.
