Red Dead Redemption 2 comes to PC this November 5th; Launch title for Stadia

Red Dead Redemption II, Red Dead Redemption 2, Nintendo Switch 2

The signs were there, we’ve seen them throughout the months, with Rockstar Games releasing its gamer launcher and storefront. Now Red Dead Redemption 2 is making its way to the PC on November 5th, 2019. Oh, that sound? That’s the sound of the millions of PC gamers cheering with joy!

Today, we’re proud to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC on November 5th, with special bonuses available to players who pre-purchase through the Rockstar Games Launcher starting October 9th. We also want to say thank you to the millions of people who have already downloaded the Rockstar Games Launcher and received their free copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

For those yet to download the Rockstar Games Launcher, be sure to download by Tuesday October 8th to get Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for free.

Read on for more details about the long-awaited launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC and stay tuned for more information to come next week.

As you know, this is the first Red Dead Redemption game to grace the PC, and Rockstar Games is ready to make this debut an amazing one. For starters, not only is Red Dead Online included, but so are all the previous updates and content as well. New graphical options to take full power of the PC, which means some yummy 4K and hopefully unlocked framerate. The PC version will also receive story mode content in the form of new weapons, bounty hunting missions, gang hideouts and more.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the PC modders end up doing to the game as well. C’mon, we all know we’re going to see some crazy mods. Just look at all they’ve done in Grand Theft Auto V.

While the game will be available on Rockstar Games launcher, it will also be available on the Epic Game Store at launch. Steam isn’t being left out as the game will also come to the platform this December 2019. Red Dead Redemption 2 is also a launch title for Google’s Stadia.

Pre-orders for the game open up on October 9th, 2019, on the Rockstar Games launcher. If you pre-order there, you’ll score two free titles (for a limited time), which include the following;

  • Grand Theft Auto III
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  • Bully: Scholarship Edition
  • L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition
  • Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition

All pre-orders also include;

  • Outlaw Survival Kit for Story Mode
  • War Horse for Story Mode
  • Treasure Map for Story Mode
  • Cash Bonus for Story Mode
  • 50 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online

There’s not all, as pre-ordering also gives the ability to score both the Special and Ultimate Editions of Red Dead Redemption 2, discounted by $20.

This is all definitely great news and I’m glad to see that one of the biggest games of 2018 is finally coming to the PC.  While you’re here, check out our review of Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Xbox One.
