The follow-up to one of the better RPGs on the PlayStation 4, The Legends of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III, releases in just one more month.

Update: The demo is now up on the North American PSN store. Get to downloading!

This game has been teased for quite some time and eager RPG players have been longing to get some hands-on with the game. Thankfully they won’t have to wait much longer as NIS America has released a demo for the game. While this demo is currently available in select regions, it also will be released in the West later today.

Details from the demo listing on PSN.

Rean Schwarzer uncovers a dark plot that threatens his homeland. To face their enemies, he must prepare a new generation of heroes as an instructor at a new branch campus and guide them towards victory.

NOTE: No trophies will be acquired in this demo version. In order to ensure you are able to acquire the trophy for completing the prologue in the full game, please follow these steps:
1) Create a save in the demo right before its end boss.
2) Transfer that save to the full game.
3) Defeat the boss in the full game to acquire the trophy.

Of course, if you don’t want to wait for the demo to reach these shores, you can always change your PSN region and download the game now. Seeing how the game has both Japanese and English text and audio, playing the game will be simple.

The Legends of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III launches for the PS4 this October 22, 2019, in the West. In addition to the standard release, NIS America is also releasing a collectors edition of sorts called the “Trails of Cold Steel III Early Enrollment Edition”. Included in this special edition are a copy of the game, 5-track physical soundtrack, and a softcover artbook with a reversible cover. This is now available on Amazon, Bestbuy, and Gamestop.
