Little Town Hero From Game Freak Coming In October

By Todd BlackSeptember 5, 2019

Last year, Game Freak revealed that they were working on a brand new RPG IP for Nintendo, codename “Town”. And during the recent Nintendo Direct, we got a look at the game in full under its new name, “Little Town Hero“.

In this game, you’re a part of a small town where there is a singular rule, “Never leave town.” Everything changes for you though when a monster shows up, and it’s up to you and the townspeople to save the day.

The game is set to play very differently than Pokemon, mainly because the main character attacks via ideas, and the kinds of attacks you choose will only be successful depending on if you can outthink your monstrous opponents. You’ll also be able to move around the town itself during battles to get help from the locals!

Arguably the biggest surprise is that the game is coming out soon, on October 16th. You can watch the full trailer from the Direct below.
