Astral Chain Has Anime Style Opening

By Todd BlackAugust 15, 2019

Real talk here, I bet you that Platinum Games had this notion planned for a LONG time during game development. Astral Chain is the next major title from the company, and it’s coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch. The team behind the game have noted that the title is inspired by many of their past titles, as well as many animes/police procedurals from the sci-fi realm. So it only makes sense for them to have an anime-style intro sequence for the game, right?

And yeah, they go basically all-out for this intro sequence, all the while keeping the 3D look of the game intact and showing off a lot of the gameplay and elements that you can expect in Astral Chain. Such as the big boss fights, riding motorcycles, working with your Legions, and more.

According to the credits, there are more anime-style original songs in the game if you make it through, so consider that something to look forward to.

The game arrives on Nintendo Switch August 30th.
