Action RPG Decay of Logos finally has a release date

Announced earlier today by Rising Star Games, the upcoming Action/Fantasy RPG, Decay of Logos now has a release date. It will be released for the PS4 on August 27th, followed a Switch release on August 29th, Xbox/PC release on August 30th, and priced at $19.99.

I played an early build of Decay of Logos during PA East 2018, and while it was still rough, I enjoyed what I played. Mainly due to the game borrowing elements from several games, including The Legend of Zelda and the Dark Souls games. When I asked about the game, it was stated that Decay of Logos was influenced by both of the aforementioned games.

There was plenty of action, as well as the traditional RPG elements which included puzzles, as well as some exploration. Though, as I’m a fan of the Soulsborne titles, I fondly remember the combat being especially enjoyable. Seeing how it’s been quite some time since I’ve had some hands-on with the title. I’m eager to see how it has come since PAX East 2018.

Decay of Logos is a story-driven, third-person action/adventure RPG with an emphasis on player exploration with minimal hand-holding and challenging combat. Immerse yourselves in the high-fantasy world of Decay of Logos through the eyes of a young adventurer named Ada, accompanied by a mystical Elk.

Both are fatefully brought together the day her village is burned down by Crimson Knights bearing the Royal Crest. Motivated by revenge, she sets out on a journey to unveil the truth behind the attack.

I can’t wait to play this again!
